Prepare yourself… this post if chalk full of pictures! There were so many I wanted to share! Like I have said before, I absolutely loved my time in Santorini, Greece. It was a trip of a lifetime and I am so thankful to Matt and Kristen for bringing me along. Our week started with many tours and trips to various parts of Greece. We hiked volcanoes, shopped in Oia, went on a wine tour and soaked in the sun on the different beaches. The wedding festivities took place all week. Matt and Kristen got married at a winery overlooking the sea. Kristen rode in on a donkey and had the attention of not only the wedding party but the other winery guests as well! The ceremony was in both Greek and English. That night there was a fun reception back at the studio apartments we were all staying at. The food was delicious and the company very entertaining! The following day we were able to sneak away for a little while to take more wedding/ engagement pictures of Matt and Kristen. We found a secret little beach and then ventured over to Oia (the perfect backdrop!). To end the trip Matt and Kristen planned for a “reception sunset cruise.” A boat took us all around the Santorini islands. Close to the end of the cruise, Mama Mia’s “Dancing Queen,” played over the speakers and half the wedding party jumped into the cold waters below! It was a great end to an even more fabulous trip.
